Extreme Vibration & Thermal Cycles: Brand-new engines feature tight piston-to-sleeve tolerances (ABC/ABL pinch). The initial engine break-in process requires rich fuel mixtures, continuous heat cycling, and extended idle/mid-throttle runs.
